The Reikwaz family didn’t have a
lot of money, but they worked hard for the little they had. They had a lot
of children but that was to work on the piece of land they owned. Thurisas and Teihwaz were the oldest of the 9 brothers. Thurisaz was a very protective man of 36 years that looked after his 8 brothers as much as he could. Teiwaz was more the one that did everything for other people, and forgot about himself. If one of his brothers was still hungry for example, he would give a part of his meal. Kenaz and Dagaz were a bit younger, and because of it, not so protective. Kenaz is a very smart man even when he was a little kid. He can think of strategies and win so every game they played. That wasn’t all that much fun for his twin brother. But although Dagaz never won, he would never get angry. He was a very stable personality. The two brothers that followed the two twins were two boys that were born with 2 years between them, making Hagalaz 31 years old and Manaz 29 years old. Hagalaz had, ever since he was a little boy, a rather strange tast in killing things. He loved to kill bugs and other small creatures. But as soon as puberty hit, he changed. He grew conscious. Although he still loved the trill of killing, he waited.. Manaz never played with Hagalaz. He was a silent child that had a smart eye for everything. He loved to spend time with Dagaz. Learning about this and that. Then the triplet came. Eihwaz, Elhaz and Ehwaz, all 28 years old were a handful. Eihwas, wondering of into the forest when he wanted, learned a lot of herbs and how to make potions. Ehlaz was the protective one of the tree. He was the one that made sure that everything staid on the right track. And the last of them, Ehwaz, loved horses. Even though that his family didn’t have the money to buy a horse, he went to town and helped, after his chores at home, at the stables of an inn. The two oldest brothers were the first to go away to war. Not much later, the other 7 brothers followed, leaving their family and everything they owned. |
