Thurisas and Teiwaz
were walking together on the long road towards their new prepuce in life.
Both brothers were summoned to go to war. First their was a training of a
few years, weapons, fighting, statistic, and other stuff.
Both brothers were heartbroken to leave their home. But as they got
further away from home, they knew that they were doing something good and
besides.. The other brothers would soon follow them too.
When they got at the gates of
their new home, Teiwaz told Thurisas: "We’re probably going to be
separated.."
"I know. They can’t handle us both." Theiwas grinned at his
brother and although he was sad, he couldn’t help but grin himself.
Theiwas was scared, that he was
trembling softly. He had never really liked to fight, but he was rather
good at it, although he didn't want to admit it.
First they all had to have some training. Then old military men decided
where somebody had to be.
And so he was picked out to be the leader of the third Aett.
At first he didn't want that position. He had always prefered to be on the
background, but then after some time, he started to love his place among
the men. And besides. His brother, Thurisas, had it more difficult. He was
the leader of all Aetts. And perhaps he could teach his men something
about sympathy and understanding.
It seemed that 7 people had to
listen to his commands, and 4 of them were brothers of him and one a
friend of his younger brother Ehwaz.
So somethimes, they didn't listen to him as they should do, and then his
trainer would yell at him.
Theiwaz took matters in his own hands and asked his brothers not to do
that. He asked it friendly, so that he wouldn't offend anybody, and he got
what he wanted. Without violance.
At the day they all left to go to
battle, Theiwaz rode next to his men. Normally, he would have to ride next
to Thurisas and Hagalaz, but he had asked not to.
When the group stopped, not as planned, Theiwaz told his men to wait here
and he would take a look.
Berkana, second in command had the charge for a moment. Even though Berkus
was a girl, Theiwaz thought she was very capable.
He drove his horse towards his brothers when he saw a large creature that
he had never thought they existed.
A dragon.
It seemed that the rider of the large beast wanted them to go with him,
and not to the battle. Theiwaz was no scardy-pants, but he would rather do
that then fight a meaningless battle.
