Description: Donatello is a portly man with a round face, reddish-tinted hair, beard and eyebrows. His eyes are sunken in his face and give him a tired look. Donatello usually covers his head to protect himself from heatstroke (and from being too easily recognised) because of his reddish hair. 
Personality: Donatello is a gruff sort of pirate. He doesn't like talking and won't fraternise with land-dwellers. He is prideful and keeps to a code of honour that has been in his family for generations. Sure he takes money from the rich, but he won't harm people if they don't attack him and doesn't tolerate harassment by his fellow crewmen. 
Short Bio: Donatello was raised on ships and feels more at home on the water than on land. He's taken over command of the ship, "The Chubby Lady" after his father lost his life at a skirmish between rival pirate groups. 
Hobbies: Swimming, fishing, as long as he doesn't have to leave his ship.

HATCHING
Forest Parixha looked over her three draklings once more, making certain they were clean and presentable. Though the mother drak was always optimistic, she was also rather shy. Presenting her children in front of a waiting group of humans, draks and knights made her a bit nervous. 
It was her white-and-blue coloured wind daughter who finally got fed up with the endless preening. Sure, she loved to look good, but you could not add to perfection. So with a small and cute squeak, she launched herself through the doors of the deep cavern that her father, Night Daiisdu, had just opened as he wanted to see what the hold-up was about.
The little wind sped by, closely followed by her siblings, a white-and-brown coloured earth male and a brown-and-green coloured forest female and stormed out toward the waiting aspirants. They had after all been briefed extensively about the waiting aspirants by their mother. As had they been taught language, manners and all other bits of useful (?) knowledge that they would need as squires and future knights. 
All the teachings of their mother had left the three curious about the outside world and raring to take their first steps away from the sheltered deep cavern. A soft sea-breeze blew into the half-open room beyond. Sand covered at least part of the tiles and torches lit up the dusky room. Night was approaching and the most beautiful shade of pink could be seen outside.
The wind female stopped dead in her tracks and sighed: "Finally!" And then proceeded to the long-haired and flirty runic warrior Calc. The forest female went next. She approached the other female aspirant, Sivi, sat down beside her and commenced an unending stream of chatter. Her earth brother waited, but after a while even he got impatient and he rolled his eyes at Donatello, the pirate captain and said: "Sisters! My name is Ijhadu and I would love to join your crew."

KNIGHT
One ship just wasn't big enough for two captains, let alone that Donatello's heart lay with his Chubby Lady. It had taken him less than a full day to know that joining the existing pirate armada at Dawn Castle would not work. Luckily it hadn't been hard at all to convince High prince Raf that a second ship with a new dedicated crew, several of which he knew would be arriving shortly, would be an asset to the castle. 
Donatello had flexed a little muscle, had exposed a little chest hair and had maybe winked. And probably Ijhadu had rallied behind his back that murder was a likely outcome if Donatello had to join Xaedan and his crew. The two captains were just too different and had too big an ego to take a step back. 
"And now?" Ijhadu asked, "We can't sail this ship alone."
"You'd be surprised as to what The Chubby Lady can do." Donatello smiled.
"But no worries, I know just who to contact and where they ended up. It'll take a couple of portals but we'll have a full crew in no time."
