Description: Veraniel has a pale complexion and will have to act with caution should she ever leave the water. She has long, curly hair that's teal-blue but she enjoys dying it so the ends are often a different colour. Her light blue eyes and big lashes catch the attention of anyone she meets. She's very sensitive to light, being able to see in any ambience that isn't complete darkness. Bright lights tend to give her migraines. Her ears are more rounded than those of regular fae, she might have traces of other species in her genes.
Personality: Veraniel is a girly girl. No-one had any doubt about what gender she would choose after her rite of passage. She enjoys beautiful things, wearing elaborate and fashionable clothes, doing up her hair and dreaming about prince charming. She loves children and this is the largest part of why she chose to be female. She wants more than one (preferably a small school) and decided that she would get that more easily being female.
Short Bio: Veraniel grew up in a family of brewers and potion makers. Some of her family work more in the recreational business while others prefer to put their skills to use as apothecaries or doctors. Veraniel is more inclined to the latter though she enjoys baking and cocktail-mixing very much too. She would love to invent a cure to any disease that brings suffering.

Hatching/Meeting
Over the past days they'd met a multitude of sea dragons, each different in some way. Many had gathered at Vallen Cove to lay their clutches. The humans, dragons, gryphons and sea dragons had ventured far and wide to look for bonders and apparently their arrival had been timed such that they too were eligible. The humming that suddenly expanded in the waters was the sign everyone was waiting for. It was time to gather around the eggs and cheer the hatchlings on. And if they were lucky, they might just bond.
Veraniel was sitting in the shallows. Her friends might prefer to search from the deeper water but Veraniel quite enjoyed spending time witht eh humans too. Even if the sun had left her burned the first time she'd tried it. Luckily she'd adapted somewhat and now she could spend some time in the sun, although she usually made certain that she was shaded by a line of trees near the cove.
It wasn't long before a green hatchling swam up to her. The dragoness had flippers but was also able to waddle on land. Her ears and tail had tufts of fur and her belly was lined with though white scales. She looked absolutely stunning and Veraniel was instantly smitten.
"Are you willing to bond with me?" she asked.
"I was working my way up to that." the excitable dragon responded. "My name is Dalsegno Nightspark!"
"Nice to meet you, I'm Veraniel."

Species: LochNex Mutt
Parents: Zhaegith Nightspark x Andante
Appearance: As LochNex are a sexually dimorphic breed, LochNex Mutt Males have a long eel fin type crest from forehead to the spiked fan at their hips. Females have sharp Ryslenesque crests separate from the spiked fan at their hips. Both have fluffy white tufts at the tips of their ears and tail. Their hides are not limited to blue/green/purple/grey like the LochNex, but span the spectrum of Alskyrian and Pernese colors, and then some. They all have eyes with green irises They are supremely graceful in the water but ungainly on land. They cannot fly, but are good at soaring leaps.
     *Colour: Spring Green
     *Adult Size: 35-55 feet long
Personality: Very energetic and joyful with a tendency to skip from one thought to another mid sentence.
Living Conditions:
     *Habitat: prefer to live in areas with large bodies of water. Can accept fresh, brackish or salt water. Just so long as they’re deep enough to swim in.
     *Diet: Fish and water plants are preferred, but they are omnivorous and can eat all plants and animals generally considered edible.
     *Bonding: Can bond, but don't need to.

Swim
Dalsegno and Veraniel proved to be a match made in heaven. Both were energetic and were willing to work for their goals. Both sometimes lapsed into bouts of chattering and dreaming and both made life better for the other. On one of their dream-talks, they got to talking about the future.
"I want a litter of kids." Veraniel sighed, "Like 10 of them."
"Why don't you have any yet?" Dalsegno asked, "It isn't hard to make children."
"I want them with someone I love." the ocean fae sighed, "Although if it takes too long I'll just take matters into my own hands."
She did have many friends she could ask for help and Veraniel figured many would be obliging. But she did hope for something more. A partner for life.
"That does sound nice." Dalsegno agreed, "But how about we try? You can't know if they're good without testing the waters."
"That's a good idea." Veraniel grinned.
