Cy Dragonstake 1

Cerces didn't think at all when she travelled through space. The trip would normally take almost two hours. Somehow however she landed back after only 5 minutes. Something had gone wrong. Maybe the gravitational pull or the magnetism of the planet. Whatever it had been it didn't matter. She'd just use her Telp again.
Cerces pushed in the buttons for her Solit penthouse and pushed the green button. Nothing happened. In a fit of rage she threw the thing away. She cursed loudly.
She missed out on getting home, she missed out on selling the prototype and most of all she missed out on the money. What was the prototype to her if she couldn't get home to sell it?
Cerces took her backpack and grabbed the prototype she had snatched from the ground when she had left. She looked at it with disgust.
"What have you done!" she yelled at it.
The prototype remained quiet... it wasn't voice operated. Cerces looked around for a decent gorge or lake to dump it in. She walked around and finally stopped at a lake. Would the prototype be destroyed by water? All beta-versions had there faults and quirks...
Cerces was ready to test her theory when the sun caught the prototype in it's rays. Cerces sighed. It was still her money. If she threw it away she'd be poor. She needed it to buy a new identity, to move to another planet, a tropical colony maybe.
If she was lucky this might be an inhabited planet. If she found people she would find a way off the planet.
"Miss?"
Her wish come through so suddenly? Cerces turned around and blinked. In front of her stood a man. For a moment Cerces thought he was just a figment of her imagination. For a moment she felt almost glad to see him. Then she regained her icy expression and manor.
"Yes." she said.
"Are you here for the hatching?"
"Can't you see that I'm lost? Can't you see that I'm in need of assistance and care? Can't you see that I am to be addressed with mistress?"
The man shrugged, "Whatever you've known before won't help you after the hatching. Everyone's an equal then."
"I don't want to go to your stupid hatching." Cerces said.
"Well I will have to bring you to Cy at least. We can't have people running around that don't know the surroundings."
"Can I get transport at Cy?" she asked.
"Sure at the hatching."
"For the last time..." Cerces started.
The man didn't pay attention to her. He whistled and waited. A loud crashing came from the nearby woods. A giant creature flew up and landed at the shores of the lake.
"This is our transport." the man said.
"Take us to Cy, Sordath." the man said to the creature.
Cerces had the impression he was mocking her, thinking she'd run off in terror. Nothing scared Cerces more than the prospect of loosing money or flair. In order not to lose her money and her pose she'd have to get on... but how?
"Sordath raise your leg to help the mistress." the man said.
The blue creature obliged and Cerces swung into the ridges on it's neck. The man followed her and said: "Are you secure? My name is M'ink by the way."
"I do not care for your name."
"I had thought as much. You really should consider the hatching. Someone might like you and your ego."
"If that is the only way you'll leave me alone, I will do just that."
