The Hive

The little grubblings had grown into their adult sizes and it was time to strike out on their own. Balehome was welcoming and the present hive would not mind having them close by. They were family after all... but the terrain wasn't exactly suited to the two naga and they were keen on finding a place to call their own. Preferably dry and sandy. 
"Are you certain this is what you want?" Wary asked.  
The brown warrior with the neon green wings was careful as always. Watching out for their hivemates was second nature. 
"We could stay here." Viper agreed.
The brighter, mostly green with brown warrior didn't like to waste energy and teleporting an entire hive seemed a bit excessive. Although it would be nice to have more space, it would put them at a disadvantage in safety and that meant both warriors would have to up their hours guarding when they could now enjoy a quiet life.
"Gloed and Genster aren't happy here. We must ensure their wellbeing." Fer-deLande interjected.
Brash and callous as always, the small yellow-green drone fought for the greater good even if it did mean some of them might have to sacrifice some free time. 
"A trip would be fun." Glare added.
The boisterous drone with it's speckled hide nearly bounced off the walls of their little abode. They really needed more space even if it was fun to bounce around like this. And exploring would be such a treat.
"It's four against 2." Viper concluded. 
Wary nodded and only a little later all six of the hive were packed and ready to teleport. The connected minds of the hive sought. They weighed and considered different places they found in the minds of their extended family. Until finally they found someplace that proved to be near perfect. 
Within half a minute the naga hive was there. The sun beat down on their bodies but the nearby caves would provide shelter. There was water and food inside the caves and there would be ways to supplement their diets with food they brought in from elsewhere. 
Best of all, there was not much intelligent life around. The place was essentially theirs to conquer. 
"I think we will be happy here." Gloed concluded.
Genster nodded and headed for the caves to start prepping for her new family.

Personality: Self-assured to the point of callousness, Fer-de-Lance would never turn on their family (no Balespawn could) but that doesn’t mean they have to particularly, individually like many of them. It may be a little backwards, then, the way they admire Genster and Gloed so much, but then again, maybe they’re just waiting for the corruptive presence of their siblings and their own to bring the naga siblings that much further into their fold.

Personality: Read their name as the glare of a bright light, not that of angry eyes, for Glare is a bright and boisterous balespawn. They like to have fun going about their days and their duties, and always feel even better when they’re brought a smile to a hivemate’s face as well.

Personality: With Viper, there’s no such thing as wasted energy. Like the inspired source of their name, they’ll conserve their efforts for the most opportune moments, then strike quickly and decisively before any potential opponents (hopefully) react. They quite enjoy lounging in the company of their hivemates when not otherwise occupied, and are thoughtful and affectionate in little ways, like remembering favourite foods or colours.

Personality: Wary always keeps a healthy dose of skepticism about themselves and never takes anything at face value. Paranoid? Maybe just a touch, but better that than being completely caught off guard by something that could have been stopped early on.
