Whispering Plains

Habitat:
The Whispering Plains stretch from the Dragon Tears Main Facility to the
Fylaris Mountains. When you are on them they seem to go on endlessly,
nothing but wide open spaces, broken by the occasional hill or small
forest. But most of the vegetation in this part of Cyatri consists of tall
grasses and bushes. Any trees around are trees commonly found in wet
flatlands and, more to the equator, savannah-trees.
The Plains got their name from the constant winds that rage ‘wispelturig’
above it’s surface, creating a continuous whisper.

The Dragons: Plains
Dragons
Appearance: The proud Plain Dragons are mostly brown, with long
legs and slim bodies, made for running. Their feet have claws to have
better grip on the ground and are padded at the bottom for running on the
soft ground. The top of their head and the ridge of their neck is covered
with thick bushy hair that can have a multitude of earth-toned colours.
But their most noticeable feature are their long curved horns
sprouting from the top of their head. These ram-like horns are used for
defence and offence, growing longer as the dragons age. Once they loose
them, they will never grow back.
Colours: Earth tones, with black and white
Temperament: Proud and Stubborn
Special Power: Bolting (running faster than the eye can see)
The Pets: Flitters
The flitters of Cyatri were formed when a few of the eggs the earthlings
brought to the planet hatched prematurely, without the right conditions
for them to develop in. Thusly they were not full-grown leaving the eggs,
but they were fully formed and though they did not prove to be as smart as
the eventual dragons, they were certainly as loyal and committed.
