Iyru is 31 and the resident science genius. Her knowledge is possibly only surpassed by her old friend Fairlight. Iyru has long black hair with a faint purple sheen, her dark hair in contrast with her pale icy blue eyes give her a rather strict and cold appearance, but first impressions aren't always true. She is quite easygoing and though she is a scientist in everything she does, she tries hard to keep in contact with everyone on Cyatri, she is after all the leading lady.

Oisin is 28, and a musician slash poet who got dragged onto the mission by chance (or bad luck, whatever you want to call it). He has shoulder long wavy blond hair, brown eyes and a goatee he likes to groom when he is thinking. He is an old friend of Fairlight's and the first she set up with a love affair. The woman she picked for him was no-one less than Iyru. 
On Cyatri Oisin keeps the records at the DT main buildings and also makes sure that the news gets spread across the areas.

Tasrin, 38 is the resident defence specialist. He still has the pose of his former work, tall, stern and strict, untouchable like a rock, but his short black hair has recently started to show it's first grey and with the dragons around there is no need to keep in premium shape anymore, so his posture has become a little bit neglected. Tasrin has warm blue eyes and a well maintained ringbeard. He was Fairlight's greatest challenge, but she got him in the end and coupled him to the very different Enid.

Enid, 36 is a medium length woman with long brown-red hair and deep green eyes. She was recruited through an add in the newspaper and selected out of several applicants. She is rather alternative for a psychologist and fits right in with the Fairlight-Iyru team. She makes sure everyone stays happy on Cyatri and can usually be found walking around the plains, or philosophising with her swamp dragon Lewin.

Fairlight is the shortest of the first settlers with her 1.56 metres and on top of that she is also the youngest at 25. However their is nothing juvenile about her, Fairlight claims to remember all her past lives and she can recollect her adventures from the last 300 years without a problem. She has blond hair hanging halfway on her back and black eyes with a purple sheen. Her skin is pale from working inside.
On Cyatri Fairlight is supposed to look for new medicinal herbs and potions, but in stead of following what 'the man' says, Fairlight conducts her own research to the afterlife and love, both thing vital in life.

Knux is medium-built, neither tall nor small, but he stands out because of his black hair with red streaks. On Earth it was assumed that he dyed his hair, though now that he has been on Cyatri for several years, it still bears those colours, making it less and less likely that it was in fact dye. Other than that, Knux has bright blue eyes that contrast with his hair. 
Knux is a chivalrous man, honourable who can hold grudges against people he doesn't like for a long time. He is a seeker and protector of knowledge, losing it is a disaster to him.
On Cyatri Knux is the caretaker of the abandoned and injured dragons on the small island of Kethoda. Since there aren't many abandoned dragons around, he has taken on the challenge of writing an encyclopedia about the fauna and flora of Cyatri, as well as a small work he entitles: 'Life.'

Vay is a fair skinned elf with curly black hair and deep green eyes that pierce through everything. She is smaller than most humans with the pointy ears that marks her as one of her kind, along with her transparent, fluttery wings.
Vay is a sarcastic little elven, pushing most people away by scaring them with her realistic one-liners and speaking without considering the feeling of others. However once you get closer she is a very loveable girl who likes to hug the people around her, laughing and joking. She can be quite fun to be around if you keep her on your good side. If she gets mad at you one moment, it's likely she'll forgive you the next.
Vay, being the first searchrider of Cyatri has lifted instinct to an art form, never once coming close to a classroom or study group about dragons. Who needs school anyway when they can have fun?

Ignace is small and slender and looks like he could disappear into thin air -in fact he can. Everything about him shouts: 'Grey!'. He has faded blond hair, grey eyes and a pale complexion that makes him nearly unnoticeable if you aren't looking for him. 
Ignace possesses some teleportation skill that came from his mother's side of the family. He never knew it was there until he was running for his life, unconsciously finding his way onto one of the ships to DT. There he stayed hidden for as long as he could until he was tricked by a small pink dragonfly into bonding an unusual camouflage dragon. With Tepiek he can no longer hide from the people on Cyatri and has grudgingly agreed to be a searchrider because of his and Tepiek's natural abilities.

Asriel, 24: Tanned, all pearly white teeth, hazel eyes and sun-bleached hair loves to make fun of the new arrivals (hazing he calls it), his smile often being experienced as something dangerous at first. But really Asriel isn't the worst. He is dependable and he will leave you alone when he deems you worthy of a dragon.

Erin is rather tall, with big green eyes and a tail of red hair that give away her heritage. Her Irish accent is also something you can't miss, even in the multicultural communities. She remains in the Whispering Plains community and when the lieutenants gather she walks with them like she's one of the guys. Erin can act like she is a bully but she has a loving heart that has a fondness for people in any kind of trouble.

Jack is tall with a lot of muscles that give him a rough look. Especially with his dark hair and ice blue eyes that always seem to be looking angry. Jack likes order and rules. He doesn't like to see them broken and will run his small area with military precision. Having deserted doesn't mean he will throw everything overboard that has given his live meaning.

Luca, 23 has a real Italian look. He has a lightly tanned skin, with a mop of thick black hair on his head, nearly covering his brown eyes. Luca is always ready to smile at a girl or have fun with the guys, which makes him very loveable (unless it's your girl he's smiling at). Though he might not be the smartest on Cyatri, he does know when he needs to stop fooling around and get serious. He is very Loyal.

Nick, 18 has blond hair and blue eyes. Him and his twin brother are the youngest among the lieutenants and maybe let a bit too free by the others. Though Nick is calm and more quiet than his brother with an affinity for the night where he can explore on his own. His seemingly absent behaviour around the dragons disappears completely when his brother shows up. After all, Nick has always followed Rick and some things will never change.

Rick, 18 is blond with blue eyes like his brother. The twins look alike though there are noticeable differences, but they act rather different. Rick is rather impulsive, always ready to act before he thinks things true. He doesn't like to sit and wait while people he cares about (his family, his fellow soldiers, but also his nation) suffer. He is the more dominant twin, though now that both have bonded they don't spend as much time together anymore.

Salla, 25, is a woman with a darker complexion than most. She has brown hair and brown eyes to match her milk chocolate skin and a very open face that could never be able to scare someone away. By her looks you would almost wonder why she joined the military, but when you see her in action, she has a very decisive manner around her that marks her a leader, strict but fair.

Sarah, 24 has a fair skin with soft grey eyes and hair that can't decide whether it's blond or brown. Though she is pretty she has managed to stay out of Terrence's field of view because of her shy nature. She is quiet and likes spending her free time in nature, just looking, thinking and enjoying. Sarah is waiting for the day that she is truly needed and her ideas will make the difference. Before that time she'd rather go her own way.

Terrence, 24, tanned from before he came to Cyatri is proud of being French. He is charming, with a big smile he enjoys showing and bright blue eyes above a well-tended moustache. No-one knows how he can keep his blond hair so well tended, but apparently he has connections ;). Terrence looks good and he knows it, chasing everything wearing a skirt. The beautiful Fairlight has caught his attention, but until now she has not responded. Terrence doesn't mind, he enjoys a challenge.

Area: Whispering Plains

Thio, 22, has a pale skin, black hair hanging to his shoulders and forest green eyes. Thio is a very fragile person, friendly and gentile but very easy to hurt. He tries to deny this part of his personality by being very outgoing and wearing the brightest colours he can get his hands on. The people at his community know him to be a tolerant leader who will not yell at anyone and is forgiving.

Ullys, 28, has a black skin, very dark brownish hair and amber eyes that stand out in his dark features. With his love for the forests it was no surprise Ullys asked to hatch his egg there. He and his dragon are a perfect team, knowing each other through and through. 
Ullys has a mysterious past, it is uncertain why he joined the military since he seems to swear off violence and likes to defend more than attack. Before he joined the mission he appears to have been a park ranger.

Zriss, 27, being Scandinavian he is tall, with blond hair and pale blue eyes. He is one of the oldest lieutenants on Cyatri and yet he doesn't act the part. He is closed to most people, being taken advantage of too easily. Zriss knows this, but cannot stop being a big teddy bear. Though he was helped a little in getting his dragon, it was really the right choice for him to hatch Smeltir. The dragon completes him, being harder than his rider.
