Hoorn Cliffs

Habitat:
The Hoorn Cliffs seclude a small stretch of beach from the main land. It’s
face is riddled with caves and tunnels, creating ample living quarters for
the resident dragons. A single waterfall runs down the left side, down
into a pool where the dragons can bathe, The air is usually filled with
flying dragons and colourful butterflies.

The Dragons: Cliff
Dragons
Appearance: Cliff Dragons are also known as Unicorns because they
have a single twisted horn on the top of their head. They have a long
serpentine body that ends in a strong tail they use for swimming. At the
same time these dragons have arms and wings of a watertight material,
lined with a few feathers. Though these dragons live in one large
community in the hollow cliff sides and thus are mostly airborn, they
enjoy swimming and eat mostly fish. After a swim they crawl back on a
beach, rest until the water has dried from their wings. Then they are
ready to take off again. Due to the smaller size of their wings, they aren’t
capable of flying long distances, they rather float on air currents and
use the winds to rise back to the heights of the cliffs.
Colours: All, but usually faded, bright colours are rare
Temperament: Social and Daring
Special Power: Wind Magic, they can control the air currents.
The Pets: Butterflies
The butterflies of Cyatri are larger than the butterflies humans are used
to. They are also more sentient, though not much. They do realise who is
their owner (or who gives them food) and will remain with this person as
long as he/she cares for them.
