Fylaris Mountains

Habitat:
The Fylaris Mountains start as hills on the Whispering Plains, but soon
grow in size and height until they reach for the sky with icy peaks and
windy passes. It almost constantly snows at the very height of the
mountains and it always freezes. The Fylaris Mountains finally end in the
Arachnida Ice habitat, sheltering the forests and plains on the other
sides from the cold wings and storms. It forms a barrier between the pole
and the moderate areas of Cyatri.
Life forms:
The Dragons: Summit
Ice Dragons
Appearance: Summit Dragons are gentle dragons equipped to deal
with the extreme cold. They are extremely solitary dragons and live on the
very peaks of the Fylaris Mountains where snow and wind rule the air. They
have warm feathered wings and feathers on their tail while their bluish
hair guards their head and shoulders from the cold.
Colours: The colours of winter: blues, whites and silvers.
Temperament: Gentle and Solitary
Special Power: Control over the weather
The Pets: Ghostwings
The ghostwings are indeed a strange type of pet. It is uncertain what they
are, but what is known of them is that they appeared only when the dragons
were brought to Cyatri by the humans. Some people say that the ghostwings
are the souls of dragons, some died, others not yet born. Fact is that
they exist and seem to like the company of humans.
