Ankyla Forest

Habitat:
The Ankyla Forest is the largest moderate forest on the continent. It
takes up quite a portion of land and offers shelter to endless creatures.
It is always bursting with life, yet it can be oddly silent at times. It
has a lot of different trees, and broad walkways that seemed to have been
created by humans eons ago, but no-one has carved them. This all adds to
the forest’s mystique that you can’t help but notice when you see it.
It’s full of power, but I doesn’t look dark or dangerous, it more
gives you the feel of an ancient force that never left and still protects
the forest and it’s inhabitants.
Life forms:
The Dragons: Forest
Dragons
Appearance: Forest Dragons are small, shy dragons with a green
skin and curly hair that is mostly yellow in hue. They have a light build
that enables them to move almost soundlessly through the forest. Forest
dragons move mostly in group, led by the oldest female who also has the
most elaborate golden horns. These dragons can be tensed to the max in a
second, ready to sprint away in the blink of an eye, almost disappearing
in the greens of the forest, like magic.
Colours: Green, gold and tan.
Temperament: Shy and Friendly
Special Power: The power to become invisible when they feel
threatened (only recognisable as a gentle breeze flowing past)
The Pets: Peacocks
The peacocks of Cyatri are an indigenous breed of forest creatures that
resemble earth peacocks a lot. They are very friendly and easily trained
to follow their owners. They are solitary creatures, only coming together
to mate. The peacocks can fly, but only short distances and not very
graceful, they walk all the more elegant though. Both males and females
have an elaborate and colourful tail.
