STATS
Name: Wind Chimes
Gender: Non Binary (Male/Female depending on the spirit in
charge)
Race: demigod
Cardinal Direction: Center
Colours: Black and White
Gift: transportation and communication,
transferring the winds to the mortal realm.
Description: Wind
Chimes is much smaller than her siblings and would, to humans, forever seem
to be like a young child (elementary age). Their hair is soft black, like
raven feathers, their skin is milky white. Their eyes are their most notable
feature. One is green while the other is blue. Wind Chimes can move their
eyes in different directions at the same time, each entity inside
controlling one eyes.
Personality: Wind Chimes is impatient and mercurial. Do to their
dual nature, there is always one child that's not in control, that is
restrained. Which of course means that when they shift places, they want to
do all the things they had to wait for and they want to do them right now.
Though youngest and smallest, their mother gave them the most important task
of all, to transfer the commands of their siblings to reality. But of course
this means that Wind Chimes needs to be patient and listen to their
siblings. And that's not something they excel in, meaning that since Wind
gave them their powers, some weather phenomena have been going a bit
astray.
Origin: child born to the goddess Wind
and the regular human Serdayn.
Bond: ?? from
Nidus Descendi

STORY
Wind Chimes sighed. One by one their siblings had come and requested to send
parts of their power to reality. With their mother gone to save their
father, it came to them to keep the winds flowing. But there were so many
worlds and so many tasks and Wind Chimes had to do everything when all they
wanted to do was play/rest.
"Run around, explore, play!" the
lighter, playful entity insisted.
"Rest, enjoy, just be." the older,
world-weary entity responded.
At first their mother had believed Wind Chimes to be like her other
children, a twin, but in one body. But Wind Chimes was so much more. Their
duality shifted constantly, refracted and reformed.
One thing they agreed upon though, having to be the one to relay every last
order to the waiting reality was becoming too much of a chore. And it also
wasn't what they'd been meant to do. They'd only been supposed to be an
occasional check to see their siblings weren't going out of control. They
had two eyes that could look in different directions, but not four! They
couldn't keep an eye on all siblings simultaneously anyway.
"They should just do their own work."
the childish, pouty entity suggested.
"They should learn to be responsible for their
own actions." the older one agreed.
And when both of them agreed, then so would it be. Wind's dimension suddenly
felt a lot quieter. Wind Chimes looked around, but could not find another
living soul anywhere. Somehow they had transported their entire family
somewhere else. And worryingly, they had no clue as to where everyone
was.
"Well, it's just hide and seek. We'll find
them."
"We can always ask someone for help."
"But who? Certainly not the gods."
"I doubt humans would be helpful much."
"How about a dragon?"
"Yes a dragon!"
And suddenly they too were gone.
