Calando & Maestoso
Sforzando let out a loud thrill that instantly
alerted the sea dragons of various breeds in the vicinity that her clutch
was hatching. Two candidates bonded and then no more candidates were left. But that didn't stop the hatching. Another
black shape sped through the waters, jumping out of the water and
displaying her purple fins. The small well dragoness held her head high as
she sang the triumphant tones that was her real name.
"I am Maestoso." she said solemnly,
"I shall go home with my mother to explore the
waters of Gremyne"
From below, a darkly coloured pool hatchling with bright green fins
observed his sister. He too wanted to see the oceans of a planet with
hardly any sea dragons in it. To explore and learn and then to tell the
Nexus about what he'd learned. And who better to teach him than his
mother?
So he let out a loud tone that grew ever more quiet until it dwindled.
"Calando, or Calath, is my name and I'm coming
too."
Though Sforando had hinted at more eggs, after a while it became clear
that no more LochNexian-Dolkrats would hatch. Training would surely
commence the following day, but the remainder of today was for celebrating
and both sea-, land- and air-dwelling creatures raised their voices in
cheer for the new additions in the history of Lantessama.
