The two unicorns trotted at the foot of the Crescent Vale mountains. They'd travelled a long distance, had traversed the big void to find a place to live and start a herd. They'd briefly looked at the plains in the vicinity, but they were home of a disturbing skala mutt, an equine dragon with two heads and a temper. So they had opted to travel on.
"This place looks promising." Terasuya said.
"I'd prefer to meet the others living here." Azayakahi insisted.
Usually he was quite impulsive but too often had others disturbed their plans to settle. He did not want to invest more of his power and magic into a place they would not stay. Which didn't mean he was just going to wait. Waiting was not in his nature. He would just trot up the mountain and speak to those in power.
Terasuya inclined her head and soothed the bright yellow stallion. It wouldn't help their case if they stormed in.
"We should pay our proper respects." she retorted, "A good greeting will sway them to our side."
Azayakahi snorted, but complied. Diplomacy was best left to the quiet black mare.
"Let us get on with it."
Terasuya acquiesced. Together they made their way higher, following a road that was made for human transport. It was well-kept but did not show signs of intensive use. When the two of them reached the top, they were greeted by a white dragon.
"My name is Winshar, I welcome you travellers."
The two unicorns returned the greeting and gave their names. They were invited to rest and eat. Only after they had recuperated did the white Wicena allow them to state their needs and wants.
"I have no qualms with you establishing a herd at the base of the mountain. All we ask is that you allow the Wicena and the staff of Gineya Isle the right to pass through." The Wicena whistled with almost the sound of bells, "Tonoco will be your link to the Center. Anything you need, and I do mean anything, you can ask Tonoco and it shall be done."
The creamy bll of fluff bobbed up and down, seeming chaotic but not forgetful, more like they were juggling a lot of things at the same time and keeping track of everything, if that was even possible.
