KSG!

Part 1: Eyrien
Eyrien walked through the park-like streets of one of the great cities. It was market day and there were stalls everywhere that deserved her attention. She was already starting to feel the nice tiredness of having walked around all day..., but she still lacked the feeling of accomplishment that followed a good buy. She had searched all day for the right scarf that matched both her hair and her new sweater.
Eyrien was tall, even for a Lyrian. But the proportions of her body were ideal. She had the looks of a classical Greek goddess with long curly platinum blonde hair and slender flexible body parts. Of course she wasn't a Greek Goddess. She was way more civilised than those ancient geezers.
Besides she was a real new Lyrianese human with bright purple eyes that seemed to radiate in the semi dark of dusk. It had taken a rather long time for her powers to develop. Regular children showed their powers at ages as early as 3.
But Eyrien didn't have a need for her power until she was 12. At that age she was busy studying and her subtle empathic powers more than once saved her when she had little time to study after a night of going out.
At her present 23 years of age she had concluded her studies and was a professional school adviser. Her choice might seem foolish, but it was actually well thought out. Her powers allowed her to see what someone was thinking from a young age and lying is virtually impossible... and school-employees have a lot of free time on their hand for shopping!
This day was one of those free moments, in fact the whole week was free since it was spring break and all the students were home. Eyrien stopped at a stand and went through the small armchains that lay there. There were some really pretty deep blue sapphires shaped like fish that were really cute. Eyrien tried them out and decided against buying them. The colour wasn't really her thing. But the one laying next to it was better. Small pink-red shells were bound together. When Eyrien put them around her wrist they reflected the light making her hands seemed tattooed with spots of light radiating out to her fingers in circles and triangles.
"It suits you." A woman said.
"Thank you..." Eyrien said, still checking out the light patterns, "How much is it?"
"4 myrkins."
"I'll take it!" Eyrien said.
Four myrkins was a good deal for a bracelet as pretty as this one. Probably because these shells were strong and easily found. Eyrien could probably make one herself if she had time to search for the right shells to make the sunpattern, but between swimming and sunbathing she didn't have a lot of time.
Eyrien carefully made her way through a group of adolescents and to a small stall which seemed to have lots of brightly coloured scarves. What she wanted was one that would match her new bracelet, loosely woven in a wavy print with purple, blue and silver parts.
At the stall she saw just the one she wanted. For a moment she lingered to drape it around herself in front of the mirror. It was perfect! The scarf was made of silk which made it perfect for indoor and summer wearing since she had large white woollen scarves for winter aplenty.
When Eyrien turned around to take it to the counter, one of the saleswomen came to her and took the scarf from her hands.
"Thank you." Eyrien said, "How much is it?"
"I'm sorry, this one has already been taken." The woman said.
"What?"
"That young man there bought it."
"And there isn't a second one like it?" Eyrien asked.
"Not in this line, they are handwoven." The woman shrugged.
Eyrien followed the pointing finger and hurried to the boy who seemed to be only a few years younger than her.
"Hey you!" she said.
