Lantessama Isle - Plant Dragons

Flower or Plant Dragons were gengineered by Cyan. They have the look and feel of plants, but with some draconic aspects. As Laedrys Cyan was playing with her plants, she happily infused dragon, sea dragon, reptile and snake DNA into her plant samples, resulting in the winged AIR plants, the aquatic WATER plants, the terrestial LAND dragons and the noodly SNAKE dragons. Somehow, one of her own drops of blood contaminated another batch of DNA, resulting in the ANTROPOMORPHIC plant dragons. 
Flower dragons are mostly docile. However big (or small) they are, flower dragons are still mostly flowers. They are content to sit in the sun and brighten up a room... They can survive on sunlight, water and soil nutrients, but they can just as easily digest fruits, nuts, vegetables and some even eat meat. 
Below is a list of all currently known plant dragons with some handy information: 
    NAME: the genus or species of the plant
    TYPE: where your dragpon will be most at home
    MULTIBOND: whether your plant likes company or would prefer to be your sole companion 
    GENDER: male, female, hermaphrodite 
    COLOURS: generally what you can expect your dragon to look like

    SIZE: adult size of your dragon, anything medium and up is rideable (though the antropo's might not like giving piggyback rides)

	Description: Amarylis dragons are royal. They think of themselves as an elite group of guides with a sacred duty to not let any harm come to their bonds. They do not look down on other plants, they just don't interact with them much. Size: Medium (about shoulder-sized)

	Description: The Birds of Paradise are very graceful, patient plant dragons. They don't move much (seeing they don't have legs, but roots) and no wings to carry them. They are rather intelligent though and just a tad anthropomorphic. (Females to the Heliconia) Size: Medium (about shoulder-height)

	Description: Bromelia are duowinged plant dragons with a knack for finding secluded areas. They live in small flocks away from civilisation and are happy with who they are. However now and then one finds it way to the greenhouse. Size: Medium (about shoulder-height)

	Description: Catnip plants are an experimental sort, they don't have a long attention span, anything new will catch their attention. 	Description: Cherries are real fiery types of plants. Strutting wherever they go, they are though and independent. But even these plants need some comfort, a safe haven to call home. Size: Large (about horse-sized)

	Description: Heliconias are balanced plants. careful, yet colourful enough to leave a mark on the world. They can be found everywhere, and all of them are considerate, charming and perfect gentlemen. (Males to the Birds of Paradise). Size: Medium (about shoulder-height)

	Description: Hibiscus flowers tend to be indecisive. They can look hours at catalogue and still not know what it is they want... or even worse, to go for green or bright red in the new set of gardening equipment. Size: Large (about horse-sized)

	Description: Lavenders are big plant dragons with a need to grow. They will almost always choose young bonders who still have some growing to do themselves. They get homesick easily, so some sea-air might make them feel more at home. Size: Large (about horse-sized)

	Description: Orchids are big and wise. They are very calm and don't usually lower themselves to the silly problems of other plants. They are completely happy in their own little world and therefore like dreamers and idealists. Size: Large (about horse-sized)

	Description: Palms are very friendly and relaxed. They like to be around water. One of their main hobbies is playing with sea dragons and entertaining the young.  They like their bonds to be teachers, nannies or otherwise working with children. Size: Large (about horse-sized)

	Description: Snowdrops are extremely shy dragons. Extremely. They're so shy that they only come out in the coldest of nights to look for their bonds.  Size: Small (about waist-height)

	Description: Sticky weeds are very easy flowers. They bond to everyone and will never let go. Caution, if these get abandoned they will be heartbroken and they have been known to stalk their bond when rejected. Size: Tiny (about knee-height, but very very long)

	Description: Secretive little dragons, the Succulent dragons come in many shapes. They keep what they know and feel close to their hearts and with none the wiser they stay in everyone's good graces. Size: Tiny (about knee-height)

	Description: Sunflowers are the most optimistic amongst flowers, they don't know bad days and see the good in every situation. They mostly bond to cheery people, but the odd one or two has been known to choose a pessimistic personality to cheer them up. Size: Medium (about shoulder-height)

	Description: Tarragons are reserved plants. They are easily crowded and offended. They are easily hurt in both their pride and their feelings, making them hard to care for. Size: Medium (about shoulder-height)

	Description: Tulips are group dragons that can react just a bit cagey. Mass hysteria isn't uncommon in these large groups of dragons. Possibly because they're gossips ;) Size: Small (about waist-height)

	Description: Venus traps are vicious. Bonders should be aware of these flowers since they are always trying to lure their bonds into their traps. 	Description: Vines are very normal, the salt of the planet. They know who they are and were they stand. Bonders should be very realistic. Vines don't like dreamers much.  Size: Medium (about shoulder-height)

	Description: Indecisive and cowardly plant dragons who are convinced others don't like them much. They prefer hiding and blooming in difficult to reach places.  Size: Small (about waist-height)

	Description: Hyacinths are very stubborn and can be a tad traditional. They don't like changing their ways and will try to overpower those that don't agree. They are set in their ways  Size: Small (about tuna-sized, but vigorous growers)

	Description: Weeping Willows, like the trees, tend to be silent thinkers. They look sad often and have a way of seeing through people and other sentient beings. You'll never keep anything secret with these around. Size: Large (about horse-sized)
