Lantessama Isle - General Information

Lantessama is situated on the planet Syl'Neriss. It must have been a thriving young planet before it was pulled into the Elsewhere, outside time and space. In the Elsewhere planets are soon sucked dry by the fleeting black spirits. Luckily for Syl'Neriss the dragonpairs were there to stop the slowly nearing doom.
Syl-Neriss is a small planet, about the size of the Earth, lighted by a medium sized sun with a slightly purple sky. It's sun is called Darnyli, Eyes of the Gods. At night the sky is lighted with thousands of stars and soft glowing purple lights at the edge of the horizon to the West (ocean). There is one big moon with a diamond white reflection that's called Hezyn, Silent Wanderer.
At day the planet lays bright green and blue as the one main continent Meriseng is surrounded by the vast ocean Lura.
The Luran ocean also has a couple of smaller islands.

1. Meriseng Continent
The large Meriseng continent is covered in vast forests, untouched by human civilisation in centuries. In the north it reaches for the pole, with colder temperatures, snow and ice. There are rocky shores with cave systems and dangerous crevices. To the south it tapers down to a point, the temperatures there far more pleasant, though probably hot in the summer months. In between those 2 extremities the continent is heavily forested. There are a few mountain ridges that add some brown to the scenery, but not many. There are many lakes and rivers crossing the continent.

2. IceLand
Though Syl'Neriss was taught to be devoid of sentient life, some humans do live on the main continent. As the planet was drawn into the Elsewhere, they managed to survive by hiding from what they called "the shadow of the dragon" in the harsh northern reaches of the continent. There they eke out a meagre living in small villages during the summer. During the cold winter months they converge in a cave system near the sea where it is slightly warmer.
The people of IceLand have an ingrained fear of the South and are usually stuck on their own traditions and lore. In the last 15 years or so, some of these IceLanders have been found and have bonded to dragons. Times are changing and the younger generation might be swayed to take hold of the more temperate areas of the Meriseng continent and make use of all the extras the dragonriders can bring them.
Currently the children of the bonded IceLanders are setting up an expedition to the IceLand they only heard stories about, hoping to save their fellow tribesmen and -women from further hardship.

3. Lantessama Isle
Lantessama Isle rises from the ocean and forms 3 distinct mountain peaks. It's a good-sized island with beaches, dunes, plains, forest and mountain habitats. The adoption agency is situated at the base of the mountains and the mountains themselves offer a home to the bonded. Though some may prefer to make a home on the beach or in the forest. As Lantessaman dragons aren't very big, the biggest only able to comfortable carry 2 people, housing doesn't need to be overly spacious. The climate is temperate, offering a good home to a wide range of beings.
More information on Lantessama can be found here.

4. Gineya Isle [Visit]
Gineya Isle is Lantessama's sister agency. It's situated quite a way from Lantessama so the people of either island don't mingle much. Gineya Isle is divided in 8 regions, each hosting there own adoptables.
