Kits are smaller versions of gryphons that were born in the woods, but
before Nick's lucky find that these eggs needed to be hung from trees to
hatch into the fullgrown form. They are more sociable than most gryphons
however and thus easier to live with which makes them quite wanted around
Cyatri.
