People of Montsegur, a world far away from other life forms, believed that there were gods. These gods lived on the clouds and they protected the people from hurt or war. And when they needed war or when they wanted somebody hurt, they invoked the 'evil' Gods.
But as years passes, the people of Montsegur became less afraid of the gods, till they didn't worship them at all. And at that time, the gods would fade away, because the people lost faith in them.

Now only 13 gods remain.
They don't want to fade away like there family, and were desperate to get away from Montsegur and with that his people. To find somebody or something that did believe in them.
