STORY
Someone bumped into Zygrep while she was browsing a stall selling weapons on the market. The man in question started to complain about looking where one went when he noticed Zygreps face with a less than pleased expression. The man quickly fled to safer places and ceased his grumbling. Zygrep returned her attention to the weapons. They were more ornamental than functional but she was tempted nonetheless because of the wonderful craftsmanship on the handle. In the end she shook her head, the blade had been too flimsy to be any use and she could not hazard one of her swords breaking during fights. She could pack a few but she needed all of them to be of superior quality.
"Why didn't you buy it?" a voice suddenly sounded in her mind.
Zygrep looked around, trying to pinpoint the voice that had put her on the defensive instantly. Although her mindset had changed, the voice hadn't seemed to notice. It chattered on about the craftsmanship and the balance.
"Quit it, it will break at the first real counter." Zygrep hissed.
A blue dragon with turquoise wings and stripes reacted to her mental chiding and Zygrep narrowed in on the dragoness that had invaded her mind.
"Now invaded is a big term, you're just so open on my personal frequency that it was impossible not to have followed your previous monologue. If you like something, why not buy it? Even if you're only going to use it for ornamental purposes."
"I'd prefer you staying out of my mind."
"Well bad luck, I can't do that anymore. As long as you're near me you'll be stuck with my company."
Zygrep returned to surly silence but keeping her mind silent was something she'd never had to do before and each time a thought surfaced, the blue dragon, Movverth, commented on it. But as annoying as the mental chattering was, Zygrep was annoyed with herself for gradually losing all caution. She somehow knew the dragon was trustworthy. But she never trusted anyone.
"You like me, just admit it." Movverth taunted and was rewarded with some choice curses from Zygrep.

FLIGHT

Several months had gone by and still Movverth was staying close to Zygrep, who despite protesting, had not actually done a lot to dissuade the blue dragoness from staying close to her. Zygrep was a fun enigma to Movverth who had not yet met anyone quite as unapproachable but still so open.
"Are you working today?" Movverth asked.
"No." Zygrep replied curtly.
"Oh good, then we can talk!" the blue dragon responded with a little mental cheer.
""I'd prefer not." Zygrep replied.
"Come on, you must be lonely being so far from home."
"Hardly." Zygrep retorted.
The two of them continued their back and forth until Movverth spotted some interesting males. They looked rather dashing with their bright colours and impressive wings. Her attention retreated from Zygrep but not before she left a hasty message:
"Well then, I'll just be off for some fun, see you later!"
