Description: An averaged sized, unassuming woman with lightly tanned skin and curly brown hair. She has bright sea-green eyes that hint at her elemental powers. Tala will always wear something blue. She is a decent swimmer on her own but is much more agile when she uses her magic.
Personality: Tala prefers to stay camouflaged in the crowd. She travels through the Nexus, staying for a few months at places each time. Since a lot of places are wary about magic-users, she usually keeps that part hidden from others. She prefers to earn her keep with manual labour and odd jobs. She is easy to talk to and appears friendly and trustworthy though in reality she keeps a firm lock on her private thoughts (can't be too careful about stray telepaths).

STORY
Tala looked around. She'd heard about Twoarth at the last place she'd stayed. Lots of water, a large complex to stay at. And a beach with little coves and inlets. perfect for swimming. Tala had always liked swimming and after a couple of months of working, the blue witch deserved a little vacation.
She was greeted by a pair of feline kin who showed her her room and gave her a rundown of the events and things to do. They especially told her not to miss the 'Swim'. Tala had no clue what would be so special about swimming but she certainly promised. Which is how she came to be in the water with a large number of others and an even larger number of big eggs.
Suddenly a light blue shape was around her.
"You're mine! You're mine!" a voice rang like a crystal bell through Tala's mind.
"Rybdass?" Tala tried.
"Present! And Yours!"
The currently still small sea dragoness affectionally hugged her tail around Tala's waist.

Some years had passed and Rybdass was still energetic. She still blurted out whatever she thought. And yet Tala could not get enough of the now large ball of energy. They'd spent most of their time on water planets where Tala still worked to earn her keep. Rybdass helped in every way she could, which sometimes meant staying away, which was hard.
But Tala also made time to swim and play. Surprisingly Rybdass had figured out how to fly and she was quite good at it, though sne needed to be careful of hot and dry days. Dehydratation was no joke.
"Also not a joke but.... do you think I should join a swim or a flight?" Rybdass one day asked her bond.
Tala considered this. Rybdass was fast both in water as in the air. She would probably do well in either medium... but Tala felt like she could only give one answer:
"I can help you in the water but not as much in the sky. A swim would be best."
"Okay, let's go see whether a spot is open somewhere."
"Somewhere with nice beaches!" Tala urged.
"And warm water." Rybdass nodded.
