Ancient Guardian to Lyria

One day, the Spirit Dragons of the North picked up a most peculiar message:
 

DO NOT ATTACK THE SKELETAL DRAGONS. Zerkiraahaem of Shadow, Reborn Ancient of Tris'Hath, has "fathered" a clutch. These beings are noble, morally charged creatures that seek realms in need of protection. While they may look alarming, they will not attack those under their care. They are highly intelligent and potentially capable of magic. So far as we are aware, they were "born" at this size and will continue to grow throughout their lifetimes. How long that lifetime is cannot be determined right now. What we do know is that they are not living, dead, or undead, but something between all realms. They do not seem to age, but can be killed if mortally wounded. If you are opposed to the presence of one of these guardians... Well, I'm sorry. I'll let you know if I figure out a way to encourage them to move on. Mystic

The ranks of the spirit dragons soon hummed with whispered messages and thrummed with nervous gestures. This was unheard of. This was most threathening. A skeletal dragon! This could only mean one thing. Those dark dragons of the South were invading. After centuries of a careful truce, war was now upon them. But there was no way to evade the coming of this dragon. There was no way to fight them as the message clearly stated that would lead to catastrophal consequences. The Spirit Dragons agreed that the only way forward was to keep careful watch of the Ancient Guardian. And most importantly,.... to keep it happy.

Personality: Depending on the locale of the speaker, Nerreahrough will be described as a lot of different things. Lofty, Haughty, a Beacon of Hope, a Source of Fear, a Presence to be reckoned with, Lazy and Tolerant, Short-tempered and Fierce. At the center of it all is a being that knows too much to be understood by those that do not share it's knowledge. Nerreahrough will work for the greater good... though that greater good might be generations away and might spell suffering to the generations of today. But it's all for the best. One day, Nerreahrough will reunite Lyria. One day, Lyria will become a paradise to all who live on it. One day...
Personal Magic: Lyria's magic is mostly psionic in nature but Nerreahrough will definitely rise above the limits it poses to mere dragons (and even more inferior humans). As they mature, they will become an all-knowing, all-seeing, all-present entity of which there is no escape. The Spirit Dragons might come to expect great things of this super-charged angel of retribution but luckily Nerreahrough will take a more hands-off approach and will only ever act upon crimes that threathen the survival of the entire planet. Seeing as this is the case, the Councils of the South have also decided to tolerate the presence of the Ancient Guardian and to keep the status quo. For now at least.
