Description: Leisurely Gait has a dark skintone, pointed ears and hair that shifts colour from green to blue to yellow. His most distinguishing feature however, are his eyes. They are very bright and stand out in his dark face. He has heterochromia where one of his eyes is green and the other is yellow (not a genetic mutation but resulting from an accident in his youth).
Personality: Leisurely Gait is everything but relaxed. He worries and does not like making (important) choices because they limit what he can do in the future.  
Family/Bio: Leisurely Gait has travelled a lot and is currently not in contact with his family as he fears he is a disappointment to them. Gait does not want an important job. His job at WindChill is just because someone needed to look over the settlement and the others had other duties. It's not important. Still he gets thanked for his efforts and has a place to stay.

STORY
Leisurely Gait, or just Gait for those who knew him more than in passing, found himself glaring at the state of the storage rooms. Gone was the order. Carefully stacked piles had collapsed and the shelves had lost all semblance of neatness. It was a disaster. Gait sighed and resigned himself to his job. It would not safe lives, but it would help people find what they need.
Outside of the storage rooms, his half-drak L'yatnayelth ty Neluath Alamyr, picked up on his mental state.
"That bad?" he asked.
Unlike most draks, L'yatnayelth's Mirusii heritage gave him telepathy. Gait had found himself talking even less than before after he'd paired. They functioned perfectly in silence and he actually preferred the quiet.
"I'll be busy for a while." Gait messaged back.
"Okay, I'll keep watch!" L'yatnayelth  replied.
The brightly coloured, furry half-drak set to his assignment. He positioned himself in front of the storage rooms to keep anyone from entering. Anyone approaching would get a glare and that would no doubt send the message that this was not the time to enter. It had always done so before.
In fact L'yatnayelth had asked Gait if they could not act as guards. They both had the necessary physique to be intimidating but Gait had refused and had just told his partner that he was not good at things that mattered. L'yatnayelth figured that keeping things orderly mattered but had not objected. he'd guard his home from inside. He'd be the last line of defense for WindChill and felt quite proud of that.
