It was the dead of night when Gyogi called for the aspirants. Sure she could have waited until morning but she wanted her offspring to pair with those who were ready at all times. As welcomers, she had had to get up at odd hours as well. With one last swish over the heads of her little ones, she strode out into the cavernous castle hall where the humans and draks awaited. She announced her draklings with the proper pump and circumstance and then enjoyed the feast that followed. |
