	WEYRLING TRAINING (2 months of age) "Devron!" Surith called "Yes?" Devron asked. "What's that smell?" the brightly coloured green dragoness asked for the umpteenth time that day. "That's meat roasting. The cook is preparing dinner." "It feels like it's the first time I'm smelling this. I've had dinner before, right?" "You've been eating non-stop." Devron grinned, "but you've also been sleeping a lot. I guess you won't be growing as fast anymore now that you're using some of that energy to stay awake." Surith considered how this made her feel. On one side she wanted to grow up faster, she wanted to fly and see the world and meet new people and do all kinds of wonderful stuff. But you couldn't do those things if you needed to sleep for twenty hours each day. "It smells nice, I think I'm glad I'm awake for this." she finally concluded. "It's one of the better things in life." Devron agreed.

	ADULT MISSIONS (12 months of age) "Devron!" Surith called "Yes?" Devron asked. "What's that there on the horizon?" she asked. "That's a caravan coming in. They bring specialty items from other places and sell them. That must mean there will be another festival at Big Bay Hold. It's already been a year." Devron said as he thought about the past twelve months and how much his life had changed. Caring for Surith had not been an easy task, but with the help of the weyrlingmaster and his friends and not to mention Surith's own sunny disposition, Devron had managed quite well. "Well she wanted to bond a wher as guard, but dragons can just fly goods wherever they need to be. I believe they operate transport businesses at most independent Weyrs." Devron said.
