"Stop snoring!" Marion storms into her brothers room. Flickering with the light to wake him.
"Hmm what?" A sleepy voice asks in the half dark room.
"You were snoring again. I could here you from my room. Shean, brother dear, I like you a lot, but if you keep this up, I'll bash your head in."
"Oh now I'm scared..." Grinning he sat up in his bed and looked at the clock next to him. The red glowing lights told him it was 3 AM.
"Were you going to sleep just now?"
"Of course. I had to do some schoolwork. I'm not really tired though."
"How do you keep this up?"
"What?"
"You hardly sleep 5 hours a day."
"Some persons don't need lots of sleep like other people do." 
"And I'm one that wants to sleep for more than 10 hours so please..."
"Ok Sheany. Sleep tight."
"Good night sis."

The next morning, Shean wakes up from some noise in the kitchen. Probably Marion. Stretching himself he gets out of bed, puts some cloths on and then walks slowly to the stairs.
"Shean!" Marion calls him when he gets down. She swings around his neck, pushes him into a chair and gives him a plate filled with an English breakfast.
"How long did you sleep?"
"2 hours give or take a few minutes. Now eat breakfast. We'll be late for school."
On the bus, Marion hops of to Lytica. Shean looks at the youngest girl of their group. A pretty red haired girl with a wonderful smile. She has visited his dreams more than once, but she wouldn't like him.. He goes to the bench in front of it and looks backwards.
"Hello Lytica. How are you today?"
"Wonderful Sheany." yet another wonderful smile. Looking at the bench after that of his half sister and Lytica, he sees his best friend and his girl friend. 
"They're busy..." Lytica said. "Lycan is in a bad mood."
"Honey, keep calm. Nobody get anything from being pissed of with somebody." Fayah said to her lover. She had talked to him for some time now, and he was finally cooling down a bit.

When the bus stopped in front of the school, Lycan was himself again.
"Come Shean. We have to get to class. Otherwise mss Gallicia is going to expell me from school. As if I wouldn't like that." Lycan snorted.
Marion, Fayah and Lytica all said goodbye and went to class. They would see each other in the afternoon, and after school, when they were going to the abandoned warehouse.

After a long and boring day, the five friends get together in the old warehouse that Fayah's father owned. Sitting in a comfortable old couch, everybody relaxed a bit. Marion dropped herself on some pillows.
"Ahhh Finally some music." Marion said with a smile on her face.
"I wrote a song. Perhaps we can try it?" Lytica said with a small voice. She had worked on it for some time now, and it turned out wonderful. But her brother disliked almost everything she did.
"Oh these are pretty good lines." Fayah said and started singing some of them.
"We too think its wonderful Lytica." Marion answered for both herself and Shean.
"What do you think Lycan?" She asked when the piece of paper came in his hands.
"I think it might work... Although I could make it better."
Lytica knew that she should be happy, but she didn't want anything changed on the song.
"I think it's fine just the way it is." Fayah said in her place. Lytica smiled gratefully. Lycan would listen to Fayah.
"Perhaps.. Why don't we try it first and then see what we're going to do with it." Shean said, smiling at Lytica. Her heart made a little jump of joy. She couldn't remember a day where she hadn't thought of him.
"Lets go then!" Marion had already picked up her guitar and was urging the rest to do the same.
Fayah stood in front of the band, a little back on her left was Lycan and on her right stood Marion. Lytica stood more to the side, and Shean was way back, already spinning his drumsticks.

When they had sung the song Lytica had written, everybody thought it was a great song. Except for Lycan. He always had to say something negative over everything. Hurt, Lytica said softly: "Why can't you ever be happy for me? You always have to critisize everything I do!" Not waiting for a reply, she left the warehouse and walked outside to the little creek.
"Now see what you've done. It's a good song!" Marion wanted to go after her, but Shean beat her to it.

Outside, he found her right away. He knew that she would go to the little creek and look at the fishes.
"Can I sit with you?"
"Of course." Lytica quickly brushed her hand over her face. She didn't want him to see her cry.
Not saying a word, Shean enjoyed the peaceful nature. Leaning back ,he looked at the clouds. Lytica followed and laid beside him.
"That one looks like a small hummingbird."
"And that looks like a dragon.." Lytica said. "Wait a minute.. That is a real dragon!?"

Back inside, Fayah was giving Lycan a lecture. Lycan loved her, but he didn't like to be pushed around like that. He actually liked the song of his sister, but he hadn't been that negative had he?
Apparently he had, he could see it in the look that Marion gave him and the way Fayah was talking to him.
"Look I'm sorry ok? Isn't that enough? It's not that I harmed anybody."
"What about Lytica?" Marion said, her voice rising from anger.
"What about her? Is she that hurt quickly?"
"So you can hit the first guy that says something negative about your songs half senseless, but you can say it without consequences?" Fayah said. 
It was true that he had hit more than one guy about his songs. But he had done it for his baby sister. She shouldn't get hurt like that. But in stead of protecting her, he hurt her worse then any other guy.
"I didn't know."
"Finally you see it. I was beginning to think I had to beat it in you." Fayah smiled and kissed him.

 Shean got up, and Lytica almost jumped in his arms. He kissed her quickly, not controlling himself for just a second.
"Am I interrupting something?" A young tanned girl said when she got off the two winged creature.
Quickly recovering, Shean said: "Of course not." Looking absently to the winged creature and not to the tanned girl that had jumped of it.
"This is Isnidi. A forset drak."
"A what-y-wat?" Lytica asked. Shean loved it how she could say that so sweetly.
"A drak." The girl smiled. "I'm a judge of Chindor castle. It's not around here.."
"I never heard of it.." Shean said.
"Can you play ssssome more mussic for me?" I loved the ssssong." The green with brown drak said, bowing to get to eye height.
"That was Lytica's song." Shean said.
"I never thought that you were into music."
"Of courssse I am."
"My name is Mary. It would really mean a lot if you played that song again. Or another if you want."
"Can your drak get into that building?" Lytica pointed to the too small building for the drak.
"We could get our instruments outside." Shean offered.
"That would be wonderful."

When they told everything that had happened to the other 3, all 3 mouths fell open in disbelieve.
Poking the drak, Marion looked at it. "Are you for real?"
"Of course I am. Now play pleassse?" 
"I have never seen Isnidi this calm before." Mary said absently.
Even Lycan didn't have a pesky remark for this situation. Fayah smiled and pushed her boyfriend in the direction of his guitar.

After playing the song and some other songs, Isnidi was content, and offered them to come to Icarus. There were some other draks that would love to hear their music.
Marion and Lytica both jumped up to go, Shean wanted to go too, but didn't let it show, and Fayah too would love to see that so called Icarus.
"And why would we play for? Sand?" Lycan said.
"You know, you can be a really ass from time to time." Fayah blurted out. Lycan looked at Fayah. At first his eyes were like fire, but then they softened and he smiled.
"You could enter for assspirantss.."
"Yeah.. " Mary said as if she and her drak were thinking on the same line.
"What the heck. If my girlfriend says that I'm an ass, something is wrong with me. I'm sorry Lytica.. I shouldn't have been so negative about your song."
"You disssliked the ssong?" Isnidi asked rather shocked.
"No, I just acted that way. There's a difference."
Lytica hugged her brother. That was the first time he had said something of his feelings.

On the Icarus planet, they were all split up. Fayah went to the warm Castle Descas, while Lycan went to Wo Yao Fei  (what was that for a name? He thought).
Lytica and Shean said goodbye, both going in opposite directions. Shean would go to Wo Yao Fei  and Lytica would go to Chindor Castle.
And last but not least, Marion went to Castle Descas.
