Personality: Joel has an unsationable curiosity. He wants to see everything, know everything, experience everything. He lives the life of a traveller, going from hotel to camping site to lodging cabin, never putting down roots. He uses his magic to earn money and leaves as little trace as his illusion magic. He is a private person who is friendly, cooperative but keeps contacts superficial.

STORY
Joel enjoyed the sunset, sitting on a log on a hill overlooking the valley below. As the sky shifted from blues to reds and yellows, a Mezokell approached to enjoy the same view.
"Do you mind if I sit here." the black and indigo dragon with white and green gems asked.
"I can't claim possession of this spot so do as you please." Joel replied.
The two sat there, enjoying the fall of night. When the sky had darkened and the moon had risen, Kyanite, the Mezokell dragon, turned his attention to Joel and asked:
"I sense magic upon you. Would you mind showing me some of your spells?"
Joel smiled, "I usually charge for a show."
"I'm sure we can come to an agreement." Kyanite replied.
The dragon was pretty level-headed and known to sink his teeth into whatever subject he was interested in. The two discussed their terms and in the end agreed to show and teach a spell in turn until they had nothing left to show.
The night advanced until the two agreed to stop and rest. The next day they continued until Joel insisted he must move on. But Kyanite had nowhere in particular to be and was reluctant to leave such an interesting individual. So he tagged along.
They have since been travelling together, experimenting and finding new ways to use their magic by their exchange of skill. Who knows how long the two will continue to travel together...
