Raven and
3-headed Black-Red
Lightning-zapped Corvosa

HATCHING

Raven entered the Nero Sands and got ready for the hatching. he didn't quite know what to expect from the whole thing getting in on this short notice, but they had assured him he wouldn't want anything else once he had gotten one of this dragons. Well, he'd just see about that.
Two bipedras hatched in the beginning of the hatching, they were very different from one another. One stood mostly upright while the other was slung forward. One was red in coloration, the other a dramatic lightning-zapped black. Both, however, had three heads. The red hesitated for a moment, three heads swinging back and forth as he tried to find his bond. The lightning dragon took advantage of his distraction, kicking him over and biting fiercly and the red’s exposed belly.
After having the red pulled away from him, the black finally seemed to have had enough, he turned and slunk back over to the candidates.
"Raven, you are my chosen", he said mentally to the bird-shifter. "I’m Corvosa."
Raven glanced over at Cerces. She hadn’t bonded yet and he hoped it would be something that Corvosa could handle. Well, there was no use worrying about it now. He took Corvosa over to the food before the hatchling decided to eat one of the candidates.

ADULT

A year had passed and a new Bipedra was about to start, much to the discomfort of G*non and some of the other riders of Cy, but the time was rather thrilling to Raven. Not all hydras were bad, some were just... misunderstood, like his Corvosa. If you kept away from it and didn't do anything to provoke him you would get away unharmed. And you certainly didn't want to try to feed the lightning zapped three-headed hydra. So far only two people had been able to feed Corvosa without losing a hand: Raven himself and Ovi, who had come to join the duo after she had impressed a green dragon at Darkling Dawn.
When Raven had asked her how she had pulled it off, she had smiled secretively and had said something like: "It's all about the right leverage." whatever that meant. For all the time he had spend with her, he had never even started to understand even the smallest thing about her.
"And you never will." he told himself, "Remember... she doesn't want you until you have accepted your other side and last time I checked you still don't shift in public."
"Maybe because you talk to yourself in public and people look funny at you when you do that." Ovi said from behind him.
Point taken. Raven thought and turned around.
"Are you coming to stop me from entering the Bipedra flight?" he asked half hoping she actually was.
"Not at all, I'm just congratulating you on your great idea and I hope you'll have fun."
Ovi turned around and Raven could only guess about what was going on in her mind. He had hoped to see some sentiment when she had found out that he was going to let Corsova fly... but if Ovi even felt anything, she was keeping it a secret.
