Mormont and
Black Land Lerion

ARRIVAL AT LANTESSAMA
Mormont felt the weird pull his private Telp always gave him. But somehow the whirling motion felt off. There was no stopping the device however and he just had to ride it out. Luckily, only a couple of minutes passed before the sensation stopped. he would not be anywhere near to earth, but he could simply have a go again. Only, his Telp fell when he finally materialised and the blasted apparatus fell apart.
Looking around, Mormont was relieved to see that he was standing on a normal looking beach, with normal looking plant life and in the distance he saw some normal-looking humans. He'd been lucky to land on a colonised planet.
"Hello?" he asked when he got close.
Luckily the woman seemed to understand him. She gave him a once over and then smiled, giving him a weirdly creepy feeling. Not many people could get him to feel like that.
"Ersatz?" the woman asked.
A shadow detached from her form and swarmed around him.
"He'll do nicely."
"Welcome." she said, "To Lantessama Isle."

HATCHING
Mormont looked up when he saw the Laedrys Donriven run toward them. The candidates for the first shadow clutch followed when he told them the hatching was near. Inside the cavern was cool and dark, the initial defected shadow dragon, Ersatz, hanging from the ceiling that made it look like they were standing below a stormy sky.
One by one the shadow dragons hatched and left to get foos.
With the previous 6 dragons gone, the cavern had emptied out almost completely. All eyes were focused on the last egg in the clutch. Only one more candidate, the spy Mormont, stood on the stone floor of the cavern. He looked, spying with seemingly low effort.
A small crack appeared and not much after two ears and a nose pricked through the shell. Another land found his way out. This land, almost as big as the queen hatched earlier stepped to the spy and laughed.
"I can feel the need." he stated.
"It is urgent." the spy answered.
"Then why not fix it?"
"I need to think of your needs first now, Lerion." Mormont answered.
The black nodded and looked around. "I think that Laedrys looks tasty." he said to his bond.
Laedrys Trix nearly choked when she saw the paw of the land shadowling was pointing toward her. Donriven placed an arm around her and said: "I'll stay around for the first few days."
Trix sighed, "I can take care of my own, but know that Pihst, Trone, Eris and Telra will be looking behind corners from now on. They might like it, thinking it's a game." Trix said, referring to the cocktail mini dragons she'd gotten at that summer's festival.

ADULT
On the Run parcours more pairs started to form in the various areas. Trix relocated her attention from the -at the moment- calm dirt roads to the forest which seemed to be swarming with dragons if you could depend on the movement of trees.
When Trix got closer, she noticed that it wasn't the amount, but the size of the dragons that caused the commotion. Several of the larger hydras were chasing each other on the other side of the lake.
Meanwhile Konivan had bolted across the lake to Isla Klyn, trying his luck there for a second mating. Several available females had made their way to the small island in the middle of the lake, and he wasn't the only one interested in them. Right next to him a dark shadow suddenly materialised.
Shadow Land Lerion looked down on the bunny and made his blood-red eyes twinkle to get a nice bloodthirsty effect that would ensure -he hoped- the bunny to seek his luck elsewhere.
Konivan had no such intentions, but even this small island would be big enough for the both of them for the short time Konivan was planning on staying. Carefully he took a step sideways and let the shadow pass.
Lerion was the first male on the isle to spot a female, purple bunny Azumai had taken her refuge there from the start and she was still awaiting chasers to catch her. When the bunny noticed her chaser she bolted all over the isle, but Lerion wasn't slow either. Quickly he followed the bunny everywhere she went, ever gaining on her, diminishing her head start. And finally he had her. Azumai didn't protest much, at least she hadn't been ambushed by a hydra.

A bit later, Cyan hunched on Zaranyth's back and gave the command to fly to the forest as fast as her wings could carry them. Cyan looked down as the scenery flowed by, on the lakes surface she could see a dragon gliding only inches above the placid waters. Cheetah Green Anoleonth, Zaranyth told her.
The green was followed closely by a black shadow, like smog, until it finally engulfed her.
"Is that one of Lerion's new tricks?" Cyan asked.
"Apparently he got the idea from the true chaotics." Zaranyth answered.
"Great! Just what we need... more fog-shifters, like it isn't obscure enough in the mornings."
"She seems happy enough with the idea..." Zaranyth shrugged when the two dragons locked tails and glade-bolted across the lake.
