Personality: Bavo is a cheeky young man who likes to laugh and crack jokes. He doesn't mind being the butt of a joke as long as it's made in good fun. He is a free spirit and not easily made to do things he does not want to do. At such times he can be quite stubborn.

HATCHING
Bavo had not thought that his short carriage ride into a neighbouring town would change his life so. But here he was, on another planet, like a fish out of water. The seaweed-farmer stood with a group of people in an arean, a group of gangly young dragons on the other side. Both groups looked at eachother with a multitude of feelings. Some were excited, others wary, and some acted indifferent.
Bavo looked at the dragons with interest. They were different from the Sea Dragons at Dawn Cove and there was a lot of variety within the group as well. Finally the sign was given and the two groups met in the middle. People trying to entice dragons into showing interest, dragons trying to find an interesting human. Bavo had a few dragons sniffing his scent and testing his strength, but the only one who kept coming was a sturdy brown Sand Wraith.
Over the weeks that followed, it became clear that the young Sand Wraith, who'd been dubbed Burrower because of his exuberant digging, would be going along with Bavo and head back to Gremyne.
