APOCALYPSE HATCHING
Both elves looked longingly at the fight.
"I could kill every last knight in there..." Anys said.
"Noooo! Let them get all bloody first!" Certi grinned.
"Tornado?" Anys asked.
"Oooh! yes."
Both elves clutched their hands together and let a huge tornado out into the
world to the enemy dragons. Something happened though...The control was
gone. Amazement filled their eyes as the tornado took charge into the wrong
direction.
"Anys, are you doing this?"
"I thought you were doing it!"
"I am not!" Certi yelled.
"Well neither am I!"
"It's cool though."
"Very."
Anys and Certi giggled.
"Nice Tornado."
"Yeah, nice quakes too."
"Pity that such tiny elves couldn't have made things
like this."
That wasn't right. Anys and Certi turned, anger glowing in their eyes,
making the red of the dominion of the demon of war even more bloody.
"We are destroying the world." Certi said.
"We can do it." said Anys.
"We are doing it."
"And no-one is going to stop us."
"Or call us cute."
One of the dragons, a male yellow with leaf patterns
on his wings gave a draconic shrug. He turned as if to leave then suddenly
spun around, bared his teeth, and screamed. The second dragon, an
odd-looking pale blue joined in and the two forest elves jumped.
"There," said the blue one.
"We aren't cute, are we?"
Certi smiled. "No, you're exactly what we need to
be fearsome! Thanks, Sveryl."
Anys grinned at the yellow. "No one will laugh at
us now, Dynath."

ADULTHOOD
Anys and Certi laughed as their dragons
destroyed a town by breathing fire upon it. The two forest elves flew around
their dragons adding to the Chaos by casting whirlwinds and floods. How it
felt good to be feared.
"To the left Sveryl!" Certi shouted as he saw a woman and newborn
baby getting away. Sveryl stopped them in a heartbeat and the sound of their
screaming as they burned made Certi shout out in extasy.
"Dynath! We can't let them have all the fun." Anys yelled, placing
himself upon the dragon's neck, nearly invisible on the giant beast.
"I see frightened children." Dyanth
answered.
"And they are still alive? How odd." Anys laughed back, "Go on!
Crush them."
Dynath happily obliged.
Who knew what more worlds they would destroy? Would they ever grow tired?
Would they ever die? Maybe Anys and Certi still ride the Universe, always
hungry for destruction. Giggling as people wither and die. Maybe they go by
many new names these days. Who knows what happens to Forest Elves when they
go truly bad? Not this writer.
POST SCRIPT: FLIGHT
"Ne, Certi?"
"What is it Anys?"
"I've been thinking..."
"You and thinking? To
the bunkers!" Dynath interjected.
"No really!" Anys said.
"What?" Certi asked.
"Isn't it about time we thought about expanding?"
"Oh!" Sveryl called and laughed,
"How truly wonderful."
"What?" Certi asked again.
"I never thought about kids." Dynath
added.
"We should join a flight?"
"But which one?" Certi asked as he nodded.
"How about we let fate decide?" Sveryl
asked.
"Hmph." Dynath added,
"Whatever female you're chasing, I'll win for sure!"
